The Story

Sin has horrific consequences. As a result of their parents disobedience, they “knew” good and evil. And “knowing” results in one brother’s death.

1. True worship puts God first
2. Unrepentant sin will bring destruction
3. God’s grace extends even to the disobedient

The Gospel

God loves you no matter what. There is nothing you can do to make God stop loving you.

This story exemplies the radical nature of the grace of God, that even though there was punishment, God protected Cain throughout his life.
