Love is risky business. There’s always the possibility that our attempts to reach out to others will be rebuffed or scorned. That’s the risk love takes. That is the risk God took when He, in love, sent His Son for our salvation.

God risks love by reaching out to us, and He calls on us to risk love by reaching out to others. Every time is the right time for expressing love for others.

Willing volunteers are assigned persons in need of someone to “come along side”. That’s the definition of “Barnabas” ministry.

The mark of the Christian is love. We become “Jesus” to those we serve.
