SERVICE MINISTRIES - FUNERAL DINNERS

Hayward Wesleyan Church provides funeral dinners as a valuable outreach to families within our church and community. This is an important ministry that sometimes presents a bit of a challenge since there is usually not much time for preparation. Callers are needed to round up food dishes. People are needed to prepare the food and bring it to the church. Tables need to be set up and decorated. Punch and coffee need to be made and served along with the food. Of course, a clean-up crew is needed. And, someone is needed to coordinate the entire event.
