SERVICE MINISTRIES - USHERS & GREETERS

The mission of the Ushers & Greeters is to create a warm welcome to each and every person that walks through the doors of Hayward Wesleyan Church. We are here to uphold our slogan, “Here to Serve You” in any way possible.

A greeter is the first person that is met when walking into Hayward Wesleyan Church. These important ministers greet people as they come in the front doors of the church and direct visitors to the sanctuary, nursery or Sunday School classes. They have a heart to serve newcomers in any way that is needed.

The ministry of an usher is to greet people as they enter the sanctuary, hand out bulletins, and find seats for late-comers, collect offerings, and straighten the sanctuary at the end of the worship service.
