Nuggets of Gold // Positively Speaking // Mark Wilson

A few nuggets of truth to ponder:

It is much easier to be critical than to be correct.

Constructive criticism is welcome by those who wish to learn.

Be careful about giving people a piece of your mind — there’s not too much there to go around!

Put your trouble in a pocket with a hole in it.

A man wrapped up in himself makes a small package.

A closed mind is usually accompanied by an open mouth.

It’s not the load, but the worry, that makes you tired.

Following the path of least resistance is what makes rivers and people crooked.

To belittle is to be little.

If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, you haven’t done much with today.

Nothing cooks your goose quicker than a boiling temper.

When you fly into a rage, you always make a bad landing.

The emptier the head, the easier to fill it with empty notions.

Begin where you are, but don’t stay where you are!

Live well, laugh often and love much!
