“60 Minutes” Airs Mercy Ships

Mercy ShipsThe CBS television program “60 Minutes” aired a segment about Mercy Ships ministry on Sunday, February 17.

The mission of Mercy Ships is to bring hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor.  This ministry is one of the missions our Faith Promise dollars support.  Michael and Heather Drown, son and daughter-in-law of Pastor Ben and Lois Drown are presently serving on staff with Mercy Ships and are based in Texas.

  1. Wonderful to see these this type of support from ex-pats. Really impressed with the length of time some of these docs have spent on the ship. Curious if Mercy Ships will utilize any type of crowd funding (ie: Samahope or Kangu – both are FANTASTIC! ) to allow people to donate to patients directly. Kudos for the excellent coverage!
